We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Permanent Estimator to join our dynamic team in the Construction industry. This role is crucial to our business as it involves calculating the total cost of construction projects, considering all material, labor, equipment, and permits. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the construction process, with a particular focus on concrete and commercial construction projects.
Responsibilities:
1. Prepare detailed cost estimates by analyzing the project's plans and specifications.
2. Conduct a comprehensive assessment of risks and identify potential areas of improvement.
3. Collaborate with engineers, architects, clients, and contractors on project cost estimates.
4. Evaluate the cost-effectiveness of products, projects, or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops.
Qualifications:
1. At least 2+ years of experience as an estimator in the construction industry.
2. Proven experience with concrete and commercial construction projects.
3. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
