Estimator - Bryant Staffing Solutions

Job Summary:
This office-based role requires direct reporting to the Chief Estimator and involves preparing detailed estimates for structural steel components. You will be responsible for both computer-aided and manual take-off estimates, developing supporting documentation, and ensuring scope compliance with contract documents.


Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed estimates for various structural steel components.
• Review vendor and sub-tier quotes for scope compliance.
• Develop estimate summaries, identifying basic and special scope requirements.
• Assist in training Estimators in Training (EIT).

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in the structural steel industry in a similar role.
• Comprehensive understanding of steel fabrication and erection processes.
• Construction experience.

• Strong skills in reviewing contract drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam, Outlook, and Microsoft Office.
• A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline is preferred but not required.
