Estimator - Gpac

GPAC is a national executive search firm that has been retained by a confidential client to conduct a search for the position of Estimator. This client specializes in HVAC, Piping and Plumbing systems to be installed and/or maintained in the greater Nashville market. Ideal candidate for the Estimator position will be a self-starter with 5+ years of experience in a similar role. In addition, this individual will have a strong background in mechanical systems and can estimate complex projects up to $10M. 

Primary qualifications for the Estimator position include:

• A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, construction management, or 5+ years of relevant working experience is highly preferred.
• Proven experience as an Estimator in the mechanical industry with a focus on HVAC, piping and plumbing projects
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, construction methods, and industry best practices
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with the ability to perform detailed take-offs and cost calculations accurately.
• Willingness to travel extensively to job sites across the country, with occasional overnight stays necessary.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet timelines.
