Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare cost estimates and quotes for new jobs and projects
- Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to determine labor and material requirements
- Estimate labor hours, machine times, and material costs
- Consult with engineering, production, and purchasing teams on projects
- Maintain records of past estimates for reference on future jobs
- Update cost estimates as project specifications change

- 2-4 years of experience in a machine shop environment or as an estimator
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with estimating software
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications
- Attention to detail and excellent math and analytical skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong skills with CAD/CAM software, MS Office and ERP systems
