Role & Responsibilities:

• Review drawings to prepare scope item takeoffs and create compelling proposals
• Estimate project engineering hours using takeoff procedures
• Track outstanding proposals, utilize estimating spreadsheets, and contribute to sales projections
• Review revised project drawings, assess scope changes, and prepare change orders
• Engage in client communication to clarify bid scope, due dates, etc.
• Opportunity for additional responsibilities based on your skill set and experience, including project coordination and more

Requirements & Skills:

• Relevant experience is a plus, but not required
• Experience in steel detailing, estimating, or steel fabrication is advantageous
• High School diploma required; Associates degree or better is a plus
• Enthusiastic and eager to develop technical skills
• Strong attention to detail, logical problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Software proficiency with BlueBeam, Excel, and Trimble Connect is a plus
• Ability to read construction documents is advantageous
