We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Permanent Estimator to join our team in the Steel industry. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in budgeting, quality control, time management, communication, decision making, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Blue Beam, Excel, and other related tools. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Structural Steel industry.

Responsibilities:
1. Developing and implementing comprehensive and accurate cost estimates for various manufacturing projects.
2. Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other team members to gather detailed information about project requirements.
3. Analyzing blueprints, project plans, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
4. Reviewing data to determine material and labor requirements and preparing itemized lists.
5. Conducting risk analysis for the projects, identifying potential issues, and proposing mitigation strategies.
6. Maintaining and updating all estimate documentation and databases, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
7. Presenting estimates to stakeholders, explaining methodologies and decisions made, and negotiating to secure contracts.
8. Ensuring all work complies with quality control standards and adheres to best practices and regulatory requirements.
9. Utilizing excellent time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
10. Participating in project management activities, providing insights and recommendations based on cost estimates.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating or a similar role within the Manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience with budgeting, quality control, time management, communication, decision making, and attention to detail.
4. Proficiency in Blue Beam, Excel, and other relevant software.
5. Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with the ability to evaluate and solve complex problems.
6. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
7. Excellent decision-making skills, with the ability to make sound judgments under pressure.
8. High level of attention to detail, with the ability to identify errors and inconsistencies in data.
9. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
10. Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality control in all work.
