ESTIMATOR - COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION

Ground Up Construction Project Estimating Background & Experience preferred within Schools, Higher Education and Municipality. 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:  The Estimator will provide comprehensive preconstruction services, including estimating, scheduling, value engineering, risk management, bid solicitation and subcontractor outreach/procurement on multiple large-scale commercial construction projects. This will involve collaboration with owners, architects, preconstruction team members and the Operations team. This individual will assist with the development and organization of document control, tracking and distribution of construction documents and assist with meeting minutes for clients and trade partners. 

The individual will work on quantity take-offs, identify unique features of work, help develop the general conditions of a project, and research historical cost data, among other tasks related to the planning of major commercial construction projects. The individual will also assist in creating options studies, value engineering, bid solicitation, project scheduling and help delineate and assign scopes of work.

GROUND-UP PROJECTS include the K-12, Higher Education, Municipal, Public Safety, Healthcare/ Medical and Senior Living sectors (also industrial, energy). 

Compensation/ Benefits: Compensation negotiable based on level of experience. Company vehicle/ Gas card. Generous 401k match. Bonus program varies depending on position. Great Health benefits through BCBS, pd 80%.
