As an Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in preparing accurate and profitable job estimates, managing regional invoicing, and collaborating with both internal teams and external stakeholders. You’ll ensure compliance with company standards while driving profitability and maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Estimating and Support
Conduct virtual inspections and scope projects using data from field personnel; site visits are rare and reserved for exceptional circumstances.
Collaborate with subcontractors and the Operations Manager to research costs and prepare accurate job estimates.
Deliver written proposals to customers, clearly outlining project scope, costs, and terms.
Maintain comprehensive and organized project files.
Invoicing and Documentation
Generate detailed invoice bundles, including legal documents and photographic evidence.
Collaborate with AR/AP specialists to ensure timely collections and address escalated payment issues.
Verify all expenditures are documented and included in project files.
Client Support and Relationship Management
Build and maintain relationships with claims adjusters, referral partners, contractors, and stakeholders.
Coach clients to advocate for services during insurance discussions.
Work with field teams to secure customer commitment and initiate projects.

What We’re Looking For
Qualifications
High school diploma (or GED) and 3-5 years of related experience in restoration estimating, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Xactimate software.
Strong mathematical skills with an ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
IICRC and/or RIA certifications are a plus.
