Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with suppliers to complete bid packages, including transformers, circuit breakers, and more.
- Maintain the Estimating Department Bid Calendar.
- Prepare and analyze technical quotations for LV and MV switchgear.
- Provide bid recommendations and conduct Pre-Bid Strategy Meetings.
- Update vendor contracts and audit pricing models, suggesting improvements to the Director of Estimating.
- Review RFQs, engineering drawings, and specifications.
- Hire, organize, and conduct annual reviews within the department.
- Interface with project management, engineering, and procurement teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Experience with complex proposals/quotations in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in reading single line diagrams and specifications.
- Excellent computer, communication, and organizational skills.
- Strong knowledge of LV & MV switchgear.
- Experience with Conform, Deviate, and Exception (CDE) documents.
- Familiarity with COMPAS, Empower, Bid Manager, or Schneider Electric Advantage.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% during the 3-6 month onboarding and training period.
