SUMMARY
The Esthetician ("Esteticista") contributes to our guests' well-being by ensuring proper treatments and screening for contraindications. Provides the highest level of professionalism, gracious service, and treatment quality offered to our guests.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Evaluates our guests' health conditions throughout the treatment to ensure a safe environment for our guests.
- Inform our guests of treatment steps to follow.
- Prepares treatment room for upcoming treatments, ensuring the highest levels of cleanliness, sanitation and up keeping for the facilities
- Contributes to the success of the organization by promoting the products and services available at the spa.
- Maintains current credentials and licenses as required by city, county, and state regulatory agencies.
- Performs additional duties and responsibilities as directed by the leadership team.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
- Two-year associatedegree, trade school degree, professional certification or any equivalent.
- At least 1-2 years of relevant experience and/or training.
- A combination of experience, education, and/or training may be substituted for either requirement.
- Experience running shifts, scheduling, performance management, problem-solving, guest servicing and running day-to-day operations.
- Experience in dealing with the public is preferred, such as retail cashier, food industry service, guest service with public contacts, etc.
- Availability to work on weekends and holidays is required.
- Ability to maintain a friendly, team-oriented, positive attitude and a professional appearance at all times.
- Ability to stand, kneel, squat for prolonged periods of time, up to and including, the entire shift and lift up to 25 lbs.
- The following position will be filled in accordance with the process set forth in California Labor Code Section 2810.8 and San Diego Municipal Code 311.0101 et. seq.
