Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Estate/Trust Administration Attorney to join our firm. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in estate and trust administration, a strong understanding of North Carolina estate laws, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities:
Estate and Trust Administration: Manage all aspects of estate and trust administration, including probate proceedings, trust funding, and asset distribution.
Client Consultation: Provide expert legal advice to clients regarding estate planning, trust administration, and related legal matters.
Document Preparation: Draft and review wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to estate and trust administration.
Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve any disputes that arise during the administration process.
Collaboration: Work closely with financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals to support clients' comprehensive estate planning needs.
Education and Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior attorneys and support staff within the firm.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active membership in the North Carolina State Bar.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in estate and trust administration.
