Role Overview:
Join our distinguished team as an Estate Planning Specialist, providing sophisticated estate planning analysis and recommendations to high-net-worth individuals. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive annual estate plan reviews for clients with complex portfolios ($500k+)
- Analyze existing estate structures and identify opportunities for optimization
- Provide expert guidance on probate avoidance strategies and tax efficiency
- Collaborate with relationship managers to deliver white-glove concierge service
- Connect clients with vetted local estate attorneys when specialized legal counsel is needed
- Review business succession plans, real estate holdings, and family wealth transfer strategies
- Prepare detailed recommendations addressing tax implications and wealth preservation
Ideal Background:
- JD degree and/or extensive experience in trust administration, business planning, or estate planning
- 5+ years of experience working with high-net-worth individuals and business owners
- Deep understanding of estate and tax planning laws in respective state
- Experience with business succession planning, M&A implications, and real estate portfolios
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Background working with clients managing complex family wealth transfer scenarios
Work Environment:
- Hybrid schedule: 75 days remote work annually
- Collaborative team environment supporting relationship managers
- Zero business development requirements - focus solely on existing client advisory work
- Standard business hours, 40-hour work week
