About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Estate Planning Paralegal to join a distinguished law firm with a well-respected trust and estates practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced paralegal to work in a collaborative and supportive environment, providing critical assistance in estate planning, probate, and trust administration. The ideal candidate will be proactive, well-organized, and possess a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing probate estate and trust administration documentation.
- Preparing trusts, wills, powers of attorney, advance health care directives, deeds, and related documentation.
- Communicating with clients regarding trust and probate estate administration processes.
- Communications with clients, court personnel, and other third-parties
- Educating clients on the estate planning process, probate procedures, and other legal matters related to their specific situation.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 5 years of experience with an estate planning and probate/estate administration.
- Paralegal Certificate or degree in paralegal studies
- Extremely detail oriented and effective organizational abilities
- Strong work ethic and professionalism
- Excellent time management skills, ability to juggle multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively as part of our team
- Strong computer skills, must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
