Job Posting: Trust and Estate Attorney (5+ years experience)

Location: Downtown Chicago

Firm: Boutique firm specializing in estate planning and business matters

Experience: At least five years of experience as an Illinois estate planning attorney

Qualifications:

• Strong background in gift and estate tax planning
• Expertise in trust and estate administration
• Desire to build a practice in estate planning, family office services, and tax matters
• Accounting or financial background and/or LLM in taxation preferred (but not required)

Responsibilities:

• Provide family office services
• Draft wills, trusts, and powers of attorneys
• Conduct gift and estate tax planning
• Manage trust and estate administration
• Assist in investment entity formation and draft governance documents
• Handle real estate closings
• Ensure tax compliance
• Collaborate with clients, other attorneys, and professionals
