We are looking for an Estate Planning Legal Assistant with your experience and dedication to join our team. As a part of our team, you will be working directly with our clients both in the office and through virtual technology, conducting meetings with clients and their families, communicating and following up with clients in a timely and professional manner, and managing calendars, deadlines, and due dates. You will be handling sensitive financial documents and organizing them to help clients achieve their goals. You will provide support for other team members when needed. You will be part of a hard-working and driven team of professionals who all share the goal of providing our clients with the highest care and quality work.

Responsibilities
- You will work directly with clients to gather accurate information needed for their estate plan.
- You will review open matters weekly to ensure they are on track and on time.
- You will meet with clients in person and remotely throughout their client journey.
- You will maintain accurate timekeeping records.
- You will work well independently and with other team members to provide the highest level of work for our clients.
- You will meet with clients in person to conduct signing meetings, as well as other types of meetings.
- You will handle sensitive financial information and be responsible for documenting, scanning, and saving it.
- You will provide funding support to the Legal Team.
- You will manage the department calendars and schedules for various meetings.
- You will serve in a support capacity for the Administrative Assistant when needed.
- You are able to attend an occasional after hours workshop in the capacity of Witness or Notary.

Education and Experience
- You have 1 or more years of client-facing experience working in a law firm or professional services industry.
- You have an associate degree or above (preferred) OR Equivalent work experience
- You have strong communication skills.
- You have experience working in a deadline-oriented environment.
- You are proficient with different software and virtual technology, such as Zoom, Google Workspace, Microsoft applications, and others.
- You work in a positive manner with a variety of personnel within a team environment.
- You are an NC Notary Public or willing to become a Notary Public.
