Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Meet with potential clients to discuss the legal services provided by the firm and offer advice on appropriate legal actions.
- Draft legal documents, research laws, and organize meetings with clients to establish their future plans.
- Accurately record and report time spent on hourly rate and flat fee cases promptly.
- Travel to various offices within neighboring counties as necessary.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in estate law.
- Admitted to practice in North Carolina is required. (Bonus points for candidates admitted to South Carolina too.)
- Experience in estate planning, trust/estate administration, Medicaid planning, and/or long-term care benefits.
- Litigation experience in handling guardianship and estate litigation cases.
- Ability to efficiently track and bill time.
- Strong work ethic and the initiative to complete tasks independently.
