The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a diverse client base, providing comprehensive advice on estate planning, wills, trusts, and property law. Responsibilities:
As an Estate Planning Attorney, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Drafting, reviewing, and amending a variety of estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and health care directives.
2. Providing expert advice and guidance to clients on all aspects of estate planning, including wealth preservation, tax planning, and succession planning.
3. Managing and resolving complex legal issues relating to estate planning and administration.
4. Collaborating closely with financial advisors, tax professionals, and other team members to develop and implement effective estate planning strategies.
5. Keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in estate planning, trust law, and tax law, and incorporating this knowledge into your practice.
6. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, demonstrating a commitment to their financial and personal goals.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the role of Estate Planning Attorney, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
1. A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A current license to practice law in Virginia.
3. A minimum of 2 years of experience in estate planning, trusts, and wills.
4. Proven knowledge of property law and its application in estate planning.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex legal issues.
6. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and team members.
