Our esteemed law firm is seeking a dynamic and experienced Estate Planning Attorney to join our team on a permanent basis. This position is ideal for a dedicated professional who is eager to utilize their expertise in trusts, wills, probate, and estate planning to provide exceptional legal services to our clients. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of cases, providing legal guidance to individuals, families, and businesses in the areas of estate planning and administration.
Responsibilities:
As an Estate Planning Attorney, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Drafting, reviewing, and advising on a wide range of estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and health care directives.
2. Guiding clients through the probate process, including the preparation and filing of all necessary court documents.
3. Assisting clients in the administration of trusts and estates, including the distribution of assets and resolution of any disputes that may arise.
4. Providing comprehensive tax planning advice to clients, including the preparation and filing of estate and gift tax returns.
5. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of laws and regulations related to estate planning and administration, and advising clients accordingly.
6. Collaborating with other attorneys and staff to ensure the provision of high-quality legal services.
7. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their needs are met.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Estate Planning Attorney position should possess the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Must be a licensed attorney in good standing with at least 3 years of experience in estate planning and administration.
3. Extensive knowledge of laws and regulations related to trusts, wills, probate, and estate planning.
4. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to clients in a clear and understandable manner.
6. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines.
7. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
8. Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
