Our well-established legal firm is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Estate Planning Attorney to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a passion for estate planning and a desire to help clients navigate the complexities of estate law. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in estate planning, with a particular focus on trusts.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Estate Planning Attorney, your responsibilities will include:
1. Drafting, reviewing, and executing estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and health care directives.
2. Providing comprehensive legal advice to clients on matters related to estate planning, including tax implications and potential litigation risks.
3. Collaborating with financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals to develop comprehensive estate plans that meet clients' specific needs and goals.
4. Representing clients in probate court proceedings and advocating on their behalf in disputes related to estate distribution.
5. Keeping abreast of changes in estate law and tax regulations and advising clients accordingly.
6. Building and maintaining strong client relationships through exceptional service and communication.
7. Participating in business development activities to attract new clients and expand the firm's estate planning practice.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Estate Planning Attorney position should possess the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in estate planning, with a particular emphasis on trusts.
3. Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
4. Demonstrated expertise in drafting and executing a variety of estate planning documents.
5. Strong knowledge of estate law, tax regulations, and probate court procedures.
6. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
