We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Associate Attorney to join our esteemed legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Estate Planning. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a seasoned attorney to apply their skills and knowledge in a challenging and rewarding environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal services to our clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded. If you are passionate about the law, with a keen eye for detail and a relentless pursuit of justice, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide expert legal support and advice to clients.
2. Develop and manage client relationships.
3. Handle a wide range of estate planning matters including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and probate administration.
4. Offer comprehensive income tax planning services, ensuring clients are fully informed and compliant with all relevant laws and regulations.
5. Maintain and expand the book of business, identifying new opportunities for client acquisition and retention.
6. Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
7. Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents and agreements.
8. Represent clients in court and other legal proceedings.
9. Collaborate with legal team members to ensure a coordinated and effective approach to all client matters.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience as an attorney, with a focus on Estate Planning; Income Tax experience is a plus
3. Admission to the State Bar.
4. Exceptional knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws.
5. Proficient in legal research tools and software.
6. Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal matters in clear, understandable language.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions.
8. Proven ability to manage multiple clients, cases, and projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines.
9. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
10. Ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently.
