Responsibilities:
- Advise and assist clients in estate planning, including the drafting of wills, trusts, power of attorney documents, and other related legal documents.
- Navigate the probate process, handling all aspects from filing the initial application to distributing assets and closing the estate.
- Provide legal counsel on guardianship administration, ensuring that the rights and interests of wards are protected.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships through excellent customer service.
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations related to estate planning, probate, and guardianship administration.
- Collaborate with other members of our legal team to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.
- Represent clients in court proceedings as necessary.
- Conduct legal research and prepare comprehensive legal documents as required.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Must be a licensed attorney in good standing in the state of Florida
- 2 years of experience in estate planning, probate, wills, power of attorney, and guardianship administration.
- Strong knowledge of laws and regulations related to estate planning and probate.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to clients in a clear and understandable manner.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proven track record of managing multiple cases and clients simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
