We are seeking an experienced Estate Planning Attorney to join our dynamic team in the legal industry. This is a unique opportunity to apply your expertise in wills, probate, Medicaid planning, and guardianships to assist a diverse clientele in protecting their financial future. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive estate plans, providing guidance on probate matters, and offering advice on Medicaid planning and guardianship issues.
Responsibilities:
1. Consult with clients to understand their estate planning needs and objectives.
2. Develop and implement comprehensive estate plans, including drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives.
3. Provide guidance and support to clients on probate matters, including the administration of estates and the resolution of probate disputes.
4. Advise clients on Medicaid planning strategies to protect assets while ensuring eligibility for benefits.
5. Assist with guardianship issues, including the establishment of guardianships and the resolution of related disputes.
6. Stay current on changes in estate planning and probate law to provide accurate and up-to-date advice to clients.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Current license to practice law in the state.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in estate planning, probate, Medicaid planning, and guardianships.
4. Strong knowledge of estate planning and probate law, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, and probate administration.
5. Experience with Medicaid planning and guardianships.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in clear, understandable terms.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop creative solutions to complex legal issues.
