Our organization is actively looking for a full-time Special Education Teacher for the current academic year. This role guarantees full-time hours through the end of the school year, with the possibility of renewal based on performance.

The Exceptional Needs Educator will play a key role in designing and delivering individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with varying learning needs within a self-contained classroom. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with parents, caregivers, and colleagues to craft customized strategies that address each student's specific challenges. Participation in district-sponsored professional development opportunities will also be expected to support ongoing growth and expertise in the field.

Requirements

Have an Illinois PEL with special education (LSB1) endorsement
Experience working with children with a wide range of disabilities
Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher or relevant role
A bachelor's degree from an accredited university is required. A Master's degree is a plus
