We are looking for an Escrow Officer responsible for maintaining ownership and customer support throughout the life of a file.
Your specific duties will include:
- New contract/order data review and entry.
- Creating new files in Impact along with assigning processing tasks to the CSU accordingly.
- Point of contact with the client/customer.
- Fulfills preliminary and secondary contact to identify and obtain required or missing information.
- Communicates with all parties to the transaction throughout the life of the file.
- Interface with customers to communicate file status, resolve queries, and avoid problems that arise
- Monitor, assign, and complete tasks as provided in Impact and departmental reports
- Act as liaison with other departments and business units for escalation and vendor management
- Screen new orders for necessary information for thorough order entry completion.
- Receive and initiate proactive customer service telecommunication.
- Locate necessary information utilizing SharePoint and/or Infodex.
- Thorough understanding of escrow law, and local city and state requirements.
- Thorough understanding of RESPA, TILA, Dodd-Frank, and CFPB rules.
- Thorough understanding and adoption of ALTA Best Practices.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts (fractions, percentages, ratios, and prorations).
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and/or Infodex; also, escrow production software, e.g. Impact, green folders (preferred)
- Possess 2+ years of related experience and/or training.
