A great company I just partnered with is consistently growing and looking for an Escrow Officer!
The Escrow Officer is responsible for ensuring consummation of all aspects of the real estate transaction. Such items include proper completion and/or creation of legal paperwork, document presentations to clients, and proper funds handling. In summary, the Escrow Officer will ensure property titles are clear, outstanding debts have been paid, all financial obligations have been met, and that the transaction is completed and disbursed correctly.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform all duties related to the closing, from pre-close, closing preparation, presenting papers and post-closing
- Expectation to uphold the Core Values in their actions and words
- Ability to work up basic files start to finish including doc prep (Deed, Escrow Instructions, title docs)
- Take ownership of customer files to ensure a fast, smooth closing and stellar customer experience
- Maintain a strong relationship with customers and ensure top notch customer service.
- Prepare final statements/closing disclosures and balance with lenders
- Prepare closing documents/packages
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in TItle & Escrow
- Ability to thrive in a team environment
- Ability to problem solve
- Ability to remain calm and productive under stressful situations
- Effectively communicate verbally and via email
- Ability to stay organized and complete set of tasks on time
- Adaptable with a dedicated work ethic
- Good administrative skills
- Must be customer service oriented
- Must be discrete and confidential
- Pre-Closing, Closing, Post-Closing, & Funding
