At Sager Electronics, we are seeking a motivated Customer Outreach Specialist in eSales to join our team in Middleboro, MA. This is a dynamic, proactive role focused on driving business growth by identifying and nurturing long-term customer relationships. This individual will engage in telemarketing, lead generation, and sales efforts while actively promoting multiple product lines and manufacturers. By collaborating with internal sales and management teams, the COS will develop tailored strategies that expand both new and existing sales opportunities. With over 400 employees spanning North America, Sager Electronics offers a robust support system and the opportunity for personal and professional growth.
Responsibilities:
- Review new web quotes and orders to identify potential long-term opportunity customers.
- Engage in telemarketing and proactive selling activities for assigned and new customers.
- Promote multiple product lines and manufacturers, understanding and executing the sales strategy.
- Work closely with sales and management teams to develop services and growth strategies.
- Build relationships with customers and manufacturer partners, communicating with honesty and integrity.
- Ensure professional and polished interactions with associates, customers, and partners.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Assist web customers with questions regarding website processes, account setup, pricing, delivery, order status, quotes, and returns.
- Identify and elevate common web customer experience issues to improve functionality.
- Develop proficiency in the PeopleSoft computer system related to sales functions (quoting, order entry, account management).
- Coordinate with marketing and purchasing to enhance customer experience and profitability.
- Manage active quotes and enter significant ones in the Compass Database (quote funnel).
- Participate in ongoing training to develop product and customer knowledge.
- Achieve target profit margins and sales goals.
- Understand contracts and their impact on orders within PeopleSoft, including Awards, Blankets, Bonds, Ship & Debit, and purchasing cost contracts.
- Collaborate with field sales and support teams to provide accurate and timely responses to customer inquiries.
- Maintain professional relationships with supplier representatives and customer purchasing contacts.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Professional experience in electronic distribution or manufacturing sales is highly preferred.
Abilities:
- A strong understanding of inside sales within the electrical and electronics distribution industries.
- Proficiency in telephonic, email, and internet communication for sales and customer service.
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and other MS Office programs.
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with company goals.
- Strong telemarketing, listening, and negotiation skills.
- Effective communicator with the ability to handle conflict constructively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional demeanor.
