KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for a full-time ERP Implementation Manager
The Software Development Manager will lead a team of Software Engineers focusing on the core custom Resource Planning Web Platform. This position will be responsible for the continuous improvement and professional development of the team, providing technical leadership and mentorship, and helping design and build future capabilities of the platform. Core areas of responsibility include team leadership, our SDLC, and collaborating and partnering with the Operations, Sales and Finance team. This role is an opportunity to make a big impact on the rapidly growing business and changing Retail and Food Service markets.
Key deliverables will include: successful implementation of deployment schedules and processes, implementation of Release Notes and establishing a three-tier environment (development / test / production) along with requisite refresh cycles. Key in this will be implementing a Change Control Review process to ensure smooth deployments. This household name company has talented developers, we are looking for someone who can bring strong process, oversight and software development management to the organization as well as ensure that developers are assigned tasks from the ticking system, requests are reviewed and assessed prior to being handed out and providing regular status on progress/assignments by project and individual.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire a team of software developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Drive multiple initiatives using agile methodologies
- Provide complete IT architecture and software development assessment, including but not limited to infrastructure, proprietary as well as third party software and existing resources.
- Manage the development lifecycle of in-house built applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, scope, and timelines.
- Oversee, create and implement software integration solutions with third party ERP systems.
- Implement and enforce best practices for code quality, testing, and documentation.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, promoting continuous learning and development.
- Comfortable in directing staff in the solution development as well as participating in a hands-on fashion as needed.
- Continuously drive technical and process improvements
- Ability to prioritize teamwork through balancing both long and short-term objectives.
MUST HAVE HANDS ON BOOMI EXPERIENCE as all of their integrations run through it. This person will manage that layer and plan all designs and migrations.
Requirements:
- Ability to translate business needs into an executable development roadmap.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience building scalable, web-based platforms.
- Strong Database experience - SQL, Stored procedures, CTE's, ETL etc
- Secondary technical background in JAVA and Python.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to convey technical information clearly.
- Experience with Power BI for data visualization and analytics is preferred.
- Understanding and utilization of Version Control.

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience (10+ years) in software development, with a focus on team leadership and project management.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and development best practices.
- Knowledge of manufacturing and supply chain processes, especially best practices, is desired.
- Previous experience in the food industry or related sectors is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with middleware platforms (e.g., Boomi).
- Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools.
