TT Electronics’ Olathe, Kansas facility, is an industry-leading designer and manufacturer of custom magnetic products and assemblies. The Olathe-based site has 65 years’ experience in the design and development of unique harsh-environment solutions for mission-critical applications.
Our dedicated teams are driven by collaboration and innovation to deliver engineering-led products supporting key applications including power conversion, actuation and control systems where our solutions support a broad range of globally recognized major aerospace and defense platforms across air, land and sea.
Role Overview and Responsibilities:Position Scope
The ERP-Epicor Analyst acts as a technology-focused senior consultant dedicated to improvement business processes and efficiencies, and ultimately, the bottom line across various sites in the US. This position plays a key role in the identification, implementation, improvement, and on-going sustainability of best-in-class manufacturing practices and technologies related to business analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and offer up ideas of cutting-edge technological approaches and solutions utilizing broad knowledge, best practices, and benchmarking.
- Assist with site upgrades, transitions and integrations throughout the US, essentially leading ERP projects and targeted process synergies.
- Align processes and procedures from various TT Sites to ensure best practices throughout the business.
- Take ownership of data and constantly improve its quality and integrity; proactively identify data quality issues and coordinate with the appropriate teams and/or software provider to resolve any discrepancies.
- Develop and document business processes and workflows and analyze how the ERP, and new tools and solutions, can be delivered to support those processes and workflows.
- Provide analytic support, including dashboard creation and management, basic descriptive and correlation analyses, visualization, and summarizations.
- Troubleshoot issues, find their root cause, and implement corrective actions to resolve them permanently.
- Maintain expert knowledge of analytic tools (including the ERP and Power BI).
- Analyze systems performance and outcomes to maintain and improve efficiency of analytic systems.
- Manage company data requests including API connections, mapping, importing and exporting of data to ensure consistent, correct and safe transfer of information.
- Participate and contribute to various IT projects throughout the facility.
- Other duties as required and/or assigned.
Core Competencies
- Extensive experience with Epicor software required.
- Possess analytical ability to break down complex problems into manageable pieces using creative thinking, analysis, and fact-based data collection.
- Adept at building trusting relationships while motivating/influencing others to adopt new best practices.
- Must have a solid understanding of manufacturing and supply chain process, and knowledge of Key Performance Indicators that drive manufacturing results.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field required.
- Three to five years of relevant work experience required.
- Experience working within an ISO or AS9100 Quality Management System is a plus.
