About the Job
Overall Purpose: The ERP Business Developer will be responsible for supporting and developing existing and new ERP customizations and integrations for Hydraflow’s ERP, hosted on the COMET Operating System. The ERP Business Developer will learn the current ERP system coding language, work in coordination with the primary ERP programmer and Process Improvement Manager to develop new programs and continuously enhance the ERP system’s capabilities within the aerospace manufacturing environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- The ability to learn the COMET programming language. Hydraflow will provide training and resources to develop proficiency in COMET.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain programs based on operational requirements.
- Collaborate with Process Improvement Manager, department leads, and other programmers on designing and developing new programs within the ERP system.
- Ensure seamless integration of new and existing programs with other software and hardware used throughout business operations.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for code and design decisions and establish best practices.
- Troubleshoot, identify, communicate, and resolve COMET issues in coordination with the IT department.
- Communicate designs, data feeds, challenges and improvement ideas to stakeholders.
- Conduct COMET updates as needed, in coordination with the IT department.
- Adhere to 5S Standards.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including, but not limited to, policies for attendance and punctuality and standards for safety.

Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Software Engineering, Computer Programming, or Computer Engineering
- Knowledge of relational database design and management techniques, especially with Microsoft SQL Server
- Proficiency in Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Internet Basic, HTML, JSON, XML, and C++
- Some experience with the linking of cross-functional applications between disparate business units and systems
- 2+ years of applicable experience
- Strong project management and communication skills
- Ability to develop and communicate solutions to routine technical problems
- Fluent in English (able to read, speak, write and understand)
- Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident)

Work Environment: Office setting (onsite)
Must be a U.S. Person based on ITAR definition (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident). This position is expected to be exposed to information which is subject to U.S. export control regulations, i.e. the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
