Summary
The ERP Business Analyst is the subject matter expert for ERP and other applications associated with operations, customer service, sales, regulatory, finance, quality, and procurement. This role is pivotal in liaising with the IT Team, external ERP consultants, and internal business teams to optimize system capabilities, ensuring alignment with evolving business needs.
This position can be fully onsite or hybrid.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- ERP Expertise & Collaboration:
- Serve as the primary business point of contact for specific ERP-related matters, ensuring applications are optimized for operations, customer service, sales, regulatory, finance, quality, and procurement.
- Collaborate with the IT Team and external ERP consultants to ensure system updates, customizations, and improvements align with business needs.
- Train and mentor internal teams on ERP and other application functionalities, ensuring optimal utilization and understanding.
- Analyze current business processes across departments, identifying areas for improving efficiency and/or reducing costs.
- Implement new solutions alongside the IT Team to address changing business requirements, ensuring seamless integration with the ERP system.
- Lead cross-functional project teams to test and implement continuous improvements, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
- Oversee periodic analytical reporting, presenting findings and recommendations to organizational leaders.
- Utilize advanced ERP and other reporting tools to gather data, ensuring accuracy and consistency across multiple systems and functions.
- Develop and implement new analytical methods to address current and future business needs.
- Build and maintain relationships with various business functions, fostering collaboration and understanding.
- Coordinate efforts between internal teams and consulting resources, ensuring alignment and timely project completion.
- Assist management of third-party service providers, ensuring deliverables meet business requirements.
- Work alongside the IT Team to address and resolve technical service requests from the operational team, identifying root causes and implementing long-term solutions.
- Document current customized processes/systems, advocating for native solutions where possible to streamline operations.

Education and/or Experience
BS degree, with 7+ years of experience in ERP systems and business analytics; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior experience with ERP application management in a manufacturing environment is required. Strong preference is given to applicants with Infor XA ERP/iSeries expertise.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong administrative, organizational, and project management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Ability to handle interactions positively, maintain confidentiality, and work with a high sense of urgency.
