ERM POLICY/PROGRAM MANAGER
WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
This position will be responsible for supporting the development and operation of City National Bank's (CNB's) Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Risk Management Framework. Responsibilities include project management; managing ERM processes; developing and implementing enterprise-wide policies; and facilitating the implementation and integration of risk management principles at all levels of the company.
What you will do
+ Implement and monitor City National Bank’s Enterprise Risk Management program in accordance with current and changing standards, regulations, policies, the financial services industry environment and internal needs/demands
+ Further mature and execute regular reviews of the ERM Framework to ensure consistent and effective adherence to enterprise, regulatory and industry standards;
+ Gather expert knowledge of the evolving Enterprise Risk Management regulatory and industry operating environment to inform the design of CNB’s governance mechanisms;
+ Manage ERM framework adoption and adherence monitoring process, including documentation and routine reporting of adherence status across business areas;
+ Support regulatory exams and audit engagements concerning the ERM Framework, including assisting in the oversight, documentation, and delivery of regulatory requests;
+ Lead, and manage updates to, ongoing ERM reporting and communication;
+ Coordinate and support regulatory reporting obligations;
+ Build and manage strong relationships with stakeholders and decision makers;
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Must-Have*
+ Minimum 5 years of experience in financial services or risk management
+ Minimum 5 years of auditing, consulting, Enterprise Risk Management or banking experience
+ Minimum 3 years of project management experience
Skills and Knowledge
+ Bachelor’s degree in risk, finance, mathematics, engineering or statistics or related discipline with 5-7 years of auditing, consulting, Enterprise Risk Management or banking experience
+ Previous experience in financial services industry and/or risk management.
+ Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, Word, Access, Power Point, SharePoint.
+ Strong project management capabilities.
+ Demonstrated ability to think critically and facilitate change through collaborative effort. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
+ Self-motivation, discipline, task focus, the ability to structure and present work and a proven record of delivering high quality results within strict deadlines.
+ Must have the ability to multitask and prioritize several concurrent initiatives
Compensation
Starting base salary: $111,408 - $189,738 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
