The healthcare industry is a dynamic and challenging environment, and we are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable ERM (Enterprise Risk Management) Manager to join our team. This full-time, permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing and mitigating financial risks in our healthcare organization. The successful candidate will have a strong background in financial risk management, with an understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities that exist in the healthcare industry.
Responsibilities:
As an ERM Manager, you will be responsible for:
1. Developing and implementing comprehensive risk management programs to address financial risks, including market, credit, and operational risks.
2. Collaborating with various departments to identify and evaluate potential financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
3. Providing guidance and support to senior management in making informed decisions about risk acceptance and mitigation.
4. Conducting regular risk assessments and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
5. Creating and maintaining detailed reports of risk management activities, findings, and recommendations.
6. Developing and delivering risk management training programs for staff across the organization.
7. Participating in strategic planning and decision-making processes to ensure that risk management considerations are adequately addressed.
8. Staying up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes that may impact the organization's risk profile.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the ERM Manager position will have:
1. A bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certification such as FRM or PRM is preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial risk management, preferably in the healthcare industry.
3. Strong knowledge of risk assessment methods, tools, and techniques.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions based on detailed analysis.
5. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex risk management concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
6. Proficiency in risk management software and other relevant computer applications.
7. A proactive approach to risk management, with the ability to anticipate potential risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
8. A high level of integrity and professionalism, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
