About The Position

Responsibilities :

• Assess and Prioritize: Evaluate and prioritize pediatric patients based on symptoms and severity.
• Administer Emergency Care: Provide treatments, medications, and life-saving interventions for children.
• Collaborate with Team: Work with pediatricians and ER staff to deliver care.
• Educate Families: Inform parents about treatment, procedures, and medications.
• Monitor Patients: Track patient progress and vital signs.
• Perform Procedures: Conduct age-appropriate procedures like IVs and wound care.
• Manage Pain: Assess and manage pain with child-specific methods.
• Care for Injuries: Stabilize and treat trauma or critically ill children.
• Document Care: Accurately record patient information and treatments.
• Discharge Planning: Provide discharge instructions and follow-up care.
• Respond to Emergencies: Participate in pediatric emergency drills and real-time response.
• Advocate for Patients: Ensure comfort and safety for pediatric patients.
• Ensure Safety: Maintain a child-safe environment.
• Support Team: Assist and mentor less experienced staff in pediatric care.
• Follow Regulations: Ensure adherence to pediatric care protocols and regulations.
