Other services that we offer include orthopedic care and joint replacement, robotic surgery, cardiac, vascular, and interventional services. We are home to the only Pediatric ER in the community. We have the only Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit in the region. Apply today for our Manager Emergency Services opportunity.Job Nurse Manager is responsible for the 24 hour, seven day a week functions of a clinical nursing unit(s).What you will do in this , plans and evaluates the activities of the department(s) to ensure quality patient care.Develops goals, policies and procedures, prepares and submits operating and capital budgets, participates in multidisciplinary QI teams, consults with staff, physicians and other departments as needed.Manages staffing patterns with the assistance of Assistant Nurse Managers and the House Supervisors on a shift-to-shift basis. Follows policies and procedures. Participates in the Quality Improvement process and adheres to facility standards of behaviorWhat qualifications you will RN licensure requiredAssociate s Degree required, Bachelor s Degree preferred3+ years of RECENT ACUTE CARE hospital experience in the ER, and at least 2+ years of RECENT leadership experience in the ER. Ideally Assistant Nurse Manager/Manager candidates. * NEEDS EXPERIENCE WORKING IN FAST-PASED ER ACUTE CARE SETTING * Would like to see leadership longevity.
