About The Position

Assessment skills. Has competent knowledge of all the normal stages of growth and development from Pediatric to Geriatric and delivers patient care appropriately. Performs thorough assessments that are systematic, comprehensive and accurate.
Clinical Skills. Consistently demonstrates competent clinical skills. Performs direct patient care activities in support of patient care delivery and team concept. Provides competent and appropriate nursing care to the population of the unit. Demonstrates knowledge and skill of emergency equipment and procedures.
2 years minimum ED nursing. no first time travel contracts ED's comparable to size and volume (140beds, about 350+ patients daily) comfortable with a 7:1 nursing ratio Comfortable with critical patients (STEMIS, Stroke, Intubations, cardiac medication titrations) EPIC documentation (NOT REQUIRED BUT ENCOURAGED) Please make note to all candidates: Travelers will not work in trauma. Travelers will not work in triage. Travelers will not work in our locked psych unit.

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Associates or Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
