About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN) **Job Specialty:** Emergency Room (ER) **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years in Emergency Department required; previous travel experience (at least 3 months) is non-negotiable; rural/small facility experience required **License:** New Hampshire Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate required **Certifications:** ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), BLS (AHA) **Must-Have:** TNCC highly preferred; traveler must have their own vehicle; willingness to work two major holidays and associated weekends **Job Description:** - Diagnose and treat a range of medical emergencies from broken bones and cuts to extensive trauma. - Prioritize care based on the critical state of patients, ensuring prompt attention and treatment. - Work as part of a medical team that includes physicians, nurses, and paramedics with specialized training in emergency medicine. - Utilize modern amenities such as noise-buffering sliding glass doors, privacy curtains, and flat-screen TVs within the emergency department. - Employ specialized areas for pediatric and psychiatric care, as well as a dedicated decontamination area for hazardous contaminations. - Must be willing to work with a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend and holiday rotations. - Respect the guidelines regarding requested time off, with no more than 5 days of time off accepted and requests made during upload. - Maintain a commitment to professional standards and efficiently address emergencies such as burn injuries, heart attacks, poisonings, and violence-related injuries while providing emotional support. - Ensure personal transportation is available for travel requirements associated with the role.
