The purpose of this position is to operate heavy equipment and machinery to assist in the installation and repair of the City's water and sewer utilities. This is accomplished by preparing machinery and equipment for use, performing preventative maintenance, repairing equipment as necessary, and assisting department crew with manual tasks. Other duties may include assisting in inspecting water facilities, hauling debris to the City dump, performing lawn and cleaning maintenance of pump stations, and interfacing with other City employees and citizens. This position may assist other employees.
