About the Opportunity

This is an open position with Ohio Edison Co., a subsidiary of FirstEnergy Corp. [OEPP]
Location: Youngstown, OH
Summary of Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates a strong commitment to all aspects of safety.
• Repair and maintenance work on heavy truck chassis and hydraulic aerial devices.
• Some welding and minor body repair.
• Operate trucks, recovery equipment, cranes, and hydraulic equipment safely.

Summary of Qualifications:

• ASE truck certification is strongly preferred.
• Must have thorough working knowledge of the operation and maintenance of diesel engines and hydraulic aerial devices.
• Knowledge to diagnose equipment problems encountered, make necessary repairs and adjustments.
• Must be available for emergency call-in as needed.
• Must have a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License or the ability to acquire a Class A Driver's License within six months of hire.
• Available for a second shift position.
