About this role:
As an Epilepsy Advanced Practice Provider (APP; nurse practitioner or physician assistant) at Intermountain Health, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. This role will help start an Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) and support in the epilepsy outpatient clinic.
In this role you can anticipate:
- Practicing at Utah Valley Hospital and Utah Valley Neurological Clinic in Provo, Utah
- Standard working hours (M-F, 8a-5p)
- No required call time
- With physician support, start and maintain an Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU); APP round and maintain care for patients in EMU
- Assist in epilepsy outpatient clinic; seeing patients for return visits, follow-up visits, chronic care, etc.
- Relocation assistance as needed
An ideal candidate will have 1+ year of APP epilepsy, neurology, and/or psychiatry experience.

What youll bring:
- APRN or PA-C degree from an accredited program
- Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
- BLS certification and DEA
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Healths credentialing process
