Title: Business Analyst IV/JIRA - Envoy Product OwnerLocation: 1575 Sherman St. Denver, Colorado 80203Interview: WebExWork is a hybrid environment. Required to be in the office on Tuesdays andThursday at 1575 Sherman St. between 7.45 am and 5 pm.As a contractor for the Business Innovation Technology and Security (BITS) team,this position will manage the JIRA and Envoy solutions. The BITS team launchedusing JIRA in December 2023 as a tool to assist in workflow and projectmanagement, risk tracking, and collaboration. The team also uses JIRA to collectdata for continuous process improvement efforts. The incumbent is responsiblefor ensuring that the board setup is correct, providing support for users, andensuring the overall health of the solution. The product owner will also beresponsible for the Envoy hoteling solution. The Colorado Department of HumanServices (CDHS) launched Envoy in September 2023 as part of the Return to Officeinitiative. The Envoy solution allows users to reserve desk space, conferencerooms, and provides notifications for package deliveries. The incumbent isresponsible for troubleshooting any user issues, working with the vendor tolaunch new modules, and the routine maintenance of the solution.1. Configuration and Administration:a. Customize Jira workflows, fields, screens, and schemes to align with theagency's project management processes.b. Implement and manage plugins and add-ons to enhance Jira functionality.c. Configure new modules to meet agency needs.d. Administer user permissions and security settings to ensure appropriateaccess levels.e. Troubleshoot user access issues.2. User Support and Training:a. Provide ongoing support and training to solution users within the agency.b. Troubleshoot and resolve user issues related to Jira functionality.c. Create and maintain documentation on best practices and usage guidelines.3. Integration and Collaboration:a. Integrate Jira with other tools and systems used within the agency tofacilitate seamless collaboration.b. Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure the proper functioning ofintegrations and data exchanges.c. Partner with stakeholders to update maps and assignments.4. Monitoring and Performance Optimization:a. Monitor solution performance and implement optimizations to ensure optimalefficiency.b. Conduct regular system health checks and address any identified issues.5. Upgrade Management:a. Plan and execute Jira software upgrades in coordination with the OIT team.b. Test new features and functionalities introduced in vendor updates to ensurecompatibility and optimal performance.6. Reporting and Dashboards:a. Develop and maintain custom reports and dashboards to provide insights intoproject progress and team productivity.b. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements andimplement solutions accordingly.Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. * Experience managing a JIRA environment, preferably in a government or state agency setting. * In-depth knowledge of Jira configuration, administration, and customization. * Strong understanding of agile and project management methodologies and best practices. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to train and support users effectively, including content creation and presentation. * Knowledge of Envoy hoteling solution a plus.Estimated Duration01/15/2024 - 07/15/2024
