About the Role & Program:
The Environmental Sustainability Line of Business is responsible for setting the strategy and leading the planning and development of environmental projects to achieve the Walt Disney Company’s (TWDC) environmental goals, which include emissions, water & oceans, waste, materials, and sustainable design.
As a Content Intern, you will develop content for multiple channels to reduce the environmental impact of Walt Disney World® Resort operations, in alignment with The Walt Disney Company’s sustainability goals. You will support the creation of communication, visual assets, presentation materials and websites to engage and influence Cast Members to act with the environment in mind. This internship opportunity provides experience working with leaders and Cast across the organization, contributing to positive change in support of environmental sustainability. You will be an organized, self-starting, results-oriented communicators with graphic design and web design experience and are passionate and prepared to support the implementation and sustainment of the programs contributing to the company's sustainability goals.
In this role, you will report to the Content Manager.
The approximate dates of this internship are June 2025 - January 2026.
What You Will Do:
+ Our internship opportunity provides experience working with leaders and Cast across the organization, contributing to culture change in environmental sustainability! We are looking for dedicated communicators with graphic design and web design experience.
+ Bring our team’s vision to life by designing visually compelling resources, tools, and presentations that communicate complex ideas with clarity and creativity.
+ Oversee continuous improvement of the department’s internal website, ensuring it remains a dynamic and engaging platform for amplifying our sustainability efforts.
+ Capture, edit, and deploy all video and photographic assets that showcase the team’s events, projects, and milestones. Edit and produce these visuals into polished, shareable content for internal and external audiences.
+ Manage creative aspects of Cast Member gifts, event supplies, and other materials for activations and events, and ensure they reflect our sustainability values to make a lasting impression.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
+ Proven experience collaborating on the development of impactful communication materials.
+ Strong understanding of visual storytelling principles with a creative mindset and eagerness to explore innovative techniques.
+ Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and maintain professionalism under pressure.
+ Demonstrated ability to create compelling, audience-specific content across various platforms, including newsletters, websites, presentations, and social media.
+ Proficiency in developing and designing creative digital content that enhances the organization’s online presence, including websites and social media channels.
+ Adept at thriving in fast-paced, dynamic environments while balancing and executing multiple tasks with efficiency and precision.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, collaboration applications and graphic design tools
On average 5-20 hours per week doing field work, walking with partners onstage and backstage, performing studies, handling materials in a variety of different weather conditions. Ability to lift to 40 pounds.

Education:
+ Junior or Senior year preferred
+ Major or previous coursework in Communication, Graphic Design, Web Design, or related major preferred
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
+ Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
+ Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
+ Be at least 18 years of age
+ Possess unrestricted work authorization
+ Be compliant with The Disney Look (http://disneycasting.net/downloads/wdpr/Disney_Look_Book.pdf) appearance guidelines
+ Be able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
+ Fully available for the duration of the internship (approximately 40 hours each week)
+ Have reliable transportation to/from work
