Environmental Specialist - PTS Advance

Location: Houston Ship Channel - 77015

Duration: 12 Months

Responsible for supporting environmental compliance activities associated with air, water, and waste reporting.

The position is in a Petroleum Marine Terminal that reports to the onsite field environmental personnel.

Position requires scanning reports, report completion evaluation and follow-up, occasional site inspections with Personal Protective Equipment (hard hat, safety glasses, safety boots)

 

Duties to include but not limited to:

-Collection and processing of reports that support the facility's environmental operating permits.

-Report gathering may include collaboration with Operations, Scheduling and Maintenance Departments.

1 to 3 years' experience.

TWIC card or willing to obtain.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Office, Outlook, MS Web Applications).

Self-motivated and willingness to learn.

Attention to detail and timeliness of reporting completion is required.
