Position Summary
We are looking for a dedicated Environmental Service Worker to join our team, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, independence, and commitment to outstanding service. Key responsibilities include general cleaning tasks such as floor stripping, refinishing, carpet cleaning and extraction, trash and bio-medical waste removal, and the secure handling of confidential documents.

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough cleaning and sanitation across various areas, adhering to safety and infection control procedures.
- Safely remove and transport waste, including bio-medical waste, from facilities to designated holding areas.
- Manage and securely handle confidential documents as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
- Experience: Prior experience in environmental services or healthcare preferred.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, adherence to cleaning protocols, and exceptional customer service. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and communicate effectively with patients, families, staff, and physicians.
Physical & Working Conditions
- Physical requirements include frequent standing, walking, bending, squatting, and the ability to lift over 50 lbs regularly.
- Working conditions may include exposure to bloodborne pathogens, cleaning chemicals, and mechanical equipment.
