Environmental Services Assistant - Ascension

We Are Hiring:

• Department: Housekeeping Services
• Schedule: Full Time Day Shift
• Facility: Resurrection Life center
• Location: Chicago, IL 

Actual compensation offered will vary based on factors including applicable licenses, certifications, education, experience, location, qualifications and comparison with associates in similar roles.

What You Will Do:

Perform a variety of environmental services to maintain assigned areas in a clean and orderly condition.

 

• Clean patient rooms or other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing bed linens and sanitizing all surfaces.
• Maintain quality standards through the use of standard cleaning procedures and protocols including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash and medical waste removal while following patient isolation or other special situations in accordance with facility standards.
• Stock paper items and other supplies in assigned areas as necessary or designated.
• Maintain supplies and/or equipment in clean, and working condition.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
