General Description:

The Environmental Health and Safety Specialist identifies, develops, and participates in the implementation of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) programs and related projects through risk identification, working with management and staff to promote ongoing continuous improvement of EHS programs.

Candidate must have hands on manufacturing industry work experience. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Safety or Environmental-related field is preferred. Minimum 5 years’ experience in an EHS specialist role; preferably in process manufacturing or an FDA regulated industry.
