About the Job
Will be responsible for daily oversight and supervision of warehouse operations, including tracking and maintaining in good working order materials, tools and equipment for use at job sites. Will be responsible for coordinating the acquisition and storage of materials, tools, and equipment within the warehouse; coordinating fleet maintenance, usage, inventories, and registrations; and facility maintenance, repairs, and operations. Will be responsible for collecting environmental samples, complying with health and safety requirements, and providing strong communication to client representatives during field activities.
Duties will also include:
- Maintain accurate inventory records and adequate stock inventory levels.
- Maintain company’s equipment tracking tools to apply rental costs to projects.
- Work with Project Managers to identify and/or procure project equipment and material resources within the existing inventory and established vendors.
- Work with Project Leads and Construction Staff to plan and coordinate materials, tools, and equipment for delivery and use at jobsites.
- Research, price, acquire, and store materials, tools, and equipment required for use on specific jobs and for warehouse inventory.
- Assist with equipment maintenance program including the inspection and repair of tools and equipment. Includes identifying any equipment needing testing, maintenance, repair, or replacement. Equipment includes environmental monitoring and sampling equipment as well as construction-related equipment from surveying equipment to yellow iron (i.e., heavy equipment).
- Manage company fleet vehicle program, including but not limited to coordination of fleet vehicle use, inspection, maintenance, and repairs.
- Train personnel on warehouse protocols and procedures.
- Supervise warehouse operations to ensure health and safety rules are followed.
- Collect environmental samples, including soil, air, and water
- Operate an onsite mobile laboratory
- Calibrate and operate field meters (e.g., XRF) and record results
- Produce detail-oriented paperwork and submittals. Correctly fill out a field notebook, photograph documentation, health and safety audit forms, etc.
- Attend and/or lead a health and safety daily tailgate meeting
- Maintain professional and capable image while interacting with clients
- Ability to manage your own schedule/utilization and communicate clearly with client representatives and ERRG project manager
- Communicate and document any noncompliance events and subsequent resolution
- Responsible for meeting standards of quality required by ERRG
- Implement field assignments in accordance with health and safety and quality control requirements
- Adhere to project-specific and corporate-wide health and safety policies
REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma plus 2 years' experience as an Environmental Technician, Environmental Construction Laborer, or related. Requires two years' experience with groundwater treatment systems operation and maintenance; checking and recording groundwater levels and collecting flow rate data; pump motor cleanings and change outs, well vault piping repairs, and granulated activated carbon change outs; valve and fitting alignment, installation of meters, and actuators and temperature probes; establishing work zones and setting up safe stations; and measuring, marking, and recording openings and distances to layout areas where construction work will be performed, etc.
