Armand Corporation, an award-winning M/WBE Construction Management firm with over 33 years of industry experience, is seeking a full-time Environmental Engineer in the New York City area. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field, along with experience managing environmental compliance and project management in a manufacturing environment.

This position is full-time, on-site. Candidates are expected to live in or near the New York Metropolitan area.
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Lead environmental project activities, including site investigations, environmental assessments, and remediation plans.
- Develop compliance strategies to ensure adherence to environmental regulations and hazardous waste management requirements.
- Conduct environmental risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating risks associated with plant operations.
- Design and implement sampling and monitoring plans for air, land, and water pollution.
- Develop project designs, prepare budgets, and oversee the execution of environmental initiatives.
- Research and evaluate new equipment, systems, and processes to enhance plant operations and efficiency.
- Coordinate and manage facility energy usage through measurement, monitoring, and improvement projects.
- Prepare detailed environmental and engineering reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Create CAD drawings to support project designs and documentation.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment managing environmental compliance, project management, and maintenance support.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Project), Adobe Creative Suite, e-Builder, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Proficiency in CAD drafting software (AutoCAD or similar) is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. required.
