Environmental Compliance Coordinator - The Planet Group

Pay: $70-78/hr 

Overview:

The project is a combined solar and battery storage project. ECC will provide fulltime onsite environmental compliance support at the project site. ECC will ensure project compliance with all applicable environmental laws and permits, including erosion and sediment control, chemical and waste management, and oil regulations. Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of work site to comply with regulatory and company standards and procedures. Serves as liaison with the EPC contractor/sub-contractors and the Client Company Project team. Conduct inspections or assessments and provide advice or recommendations regarding compliance issues to project management.

Top 3 “must have” skill sets (technical/functional) which are required?

1. Understanding of erosion and sediment control and stormwater management, as it relates to the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP).
2. Experience with large construction projects
3. Ability to work with different vendors and subcontractors

Certifications:

• OSHA 30 required
• Virginia Department of Environmental Quality Erosion and Sediment Control Inspector (preferred)
• Virginia Department of Environmental Quality Stormwater Management Inspector (preferred)

Will the candidate be driving a vehicle on behalf of Client Company or a Client Company vehicle?

• Will be cleared for Client Company vehicle.
