This position is to support the Environmental Engineering and Remediation Division.
The primary responsibility is to carry out various assignments under the supervision of a Project Engineer in multifaceted work areas of planning, construction management, and inspection of field projects. Other duties include.
assisting in preparing, writing, and editing various technical reports and documents including project subcontractor scopes of work, work plans, technical memorandums, project completion reports

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
+ Learns Company values, corporate and client objectives
+ Must be willing to travel in support of projects (at least 50%) which will be reimbursed by the company
+ Provides technical and engineering information to ensure field work complies with all engineering standards, codes and contract specifications.
+ Collects, coordinates and analyses shop drawings, design specifications, material requirements and project data through the duration of the project to ensure quality and contract specification compliance
+ Tracking and evaluating daily production to accurately track project performance using company-approved methods and technologies
+ Reviews project specifications for quality assurance at the beginning of work, during the project work and after work completes
+ Performs construction inspection duties in coordination with inspection staff
+ Prepares and reads plans, responds to subcontractor and vendor questions, and reviews specifications.
+ Assists in analyzing problems and recommends solutions to problems
+ Initiates and manages permits needed before work can begin
+ Attends daily safety meetings with field team and project leadership; presents field analysis as needed
+ Engages in the Job Safety Analysis (JSAs) to ensure a safe and compliance work environment for all field personnel
+ Responsible for following established safety practices while performing assigned duties to protect self, co-workers, and the public from personal injury and to prevent damage to Authority property
The Company will provide all applicable training and reimburse all approved travel required by the project. Candidates must provide appropriate attire for both field work (safety toed shoes) and office attire (business casual).
Basic Qualifications
+ Must have an accredited university/college pursuing a bachelor or graduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or other related field of study)
+ 0-1 years experience
+ Beginner knowledge of construction equipment & techniques, drawing & specifications, building materials and required standards applicable to the project
+ Ability to assume responsibility, interface and communicate effectively with others
+ Excellent verbal and written communication
+ Superb problem-solving skills using logic and data
+ Critical thinking and analytical skills
+ Valid Driver's License with clean driving record
+ Proficiency in MS Office
