Salary Range: $115,000 - $140,000 + Bonus

Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and CAL-OSHA environmental rules and regulations.
- Manages the companies Environment, Health, and Safety programs across multiple locations and determines their effectiveness; makes recommendations for improvements to policies and procedures.
- Ensures that mandatory OSHA reporting is completed, i.e. annual BLS and OSHA 300 log, notifications of serious accidents
- Manages facility environmental programs working with the facilities manager in the areas of hazardous waste, Storm Water pollution, and waste water management. Informs management of environmental problems and solutions involving employees, the company and public. Prepares/submits environmental reports in compliance with local, state and federal environmental regulations.
- Conducts various inspections and audits to ensure safe work environments according to regulatory bodies and in compliance to the manufacturing ISO Integrated Management System.
- Evaluate, assess and alter safety procedures and policies for the benefit of employees and clients.
- Manages companies Workers' Comp program; including but not limited to first reporting, industrial clinic selection and analysis of injuries. Coordinates with HR team.
- Ensures all associates, both hourly and management, receive all training necessary to safely perform respective duties and operate within their respective environments (plant, field, office, customer). This includes training for managers on programs they are required to implement and/or new hire onboarding for employees and temp agencies associates. Includes:
- Maintains safety training database and training records.
- Leads injury and incident inquiries, evaluations and root cause analysis with corrective actions.
- Prepares, consults, develops and maintains all safety training, lectures, and discussions to increase knowledge and competence with both internal and external parties across all sites and field remote employees.
- Prepares analysis, and reports as required for trends and KPIs to the Groupe.
- Manages the plant safety committee meetings and the election of the safety committee to address and abate safety hazards.
What you need to be successful in this role:
- Bachelor's degree desired in environmental health or safety, but additional certifications and work experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
- Bi-lingual (Spanish) required.
- 3 -5 years' experience in the Manufacturing industry.
- 1 -2 years’ experience with multi-site responsibility.
- 1-2 years’ experience with remote field employees.
- Worker’s compensation experience (claims handling, interfacing with workmen’s comp medical facilities, and workmen’s comp reporting).
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, Workers' Comp, and ISO standards, concerning manufacturing.
- OSHA 30 Certification required.
- Forklift Trainer Certified required.
- First Responder Certified highly preferred.
- Ability to train, influence, and motivate team members.
- Required to travel between all facilities. 25-30%. (within the state of California LA and Orange Counties).
- Required travel field visits ride along with technician or sales representative (field remote worker) 1 per quarter.
- Required travel field visit to Florida site 1 -2 times annually.
Physical Requirements:
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 – 50 pounds.
